XERFER
UI/UX for a mobile app for rent or sell garments.
✺ CONTEXT
XERFER is a mobile application designed to allow users to rent or sell a variety of garments, fostering a community and providing an alternative to traditional clothing consumption. As a startup project, the design team was tasked with developing the UI kit (User Interface Guidelines) for the application and enhancing the UX design.
XERFER offers a solution for renting and purchasing quality garments, aiming to promote smarter fashion consumption and create a community of users who are more conscious of the industry's impact.
The primary objective was to deliver a comprehensive UI kit. The design team received a flowchart outlining the navigation from the previous User Experience Team. Based on this, improvements were proposed to enhance the consistency of XERFER's graphic identity and overall app design.

✺ PERSONAS
Archetypes were developed into two user personas to ensure consistency in the mobile application experience. Both personas are of socioeconomic status A/B, C+, and are characterized by being highly digital, hyper-connected, social, and motivating. I conducted interviews and surveys to gather relevant data about their profiles and specific garment purchasing needs. This data helped refine the user personas, aligning them more closely with actual user needs and characteristics.
Based on the collected data, we moved from initial sketches and paper wireframes to digitalization in Figma. This phase involved defining purchase paths to guide user navigation, and incorporating features such as favorite collections, card portfolios, payment methods, memberships, and order management.

✺ INTERFACE DESIGN
We developed the Graphic Identity for the mobile app using the color palette and other assets provided by the marketing team. The goal was to create a cohesive aesthetic experience across digital ecosystems, ensuring alignment between the brand and its platform. As a result, the UX design was completed while the UI kit was simultaneously developed. We continuously shared our proposals with XERFER project stakeholders. Usability tests were also conducted with potential users, who provided valuable feedback and comments on the app's service.
During the development of the mobile application, we created screens based on the flowchart, including: Home, Login, Join, Profile, Address, Payment Methods, Orders, Order History, Membership, Favorites, and Product screens. Additionally, we designed screens for Cart, Checkout, and various user pop-ups such as slicers, carousels, and text boxes.
